The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will publish the SSC CGL Results on its official website —www.ssc.gov.in. The results will be released in separate PDF files for each post category, containing the names and roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the next stage of the examination. Candidates can check and download their SSC CGL Result PDF directly from the official portal once it is released.
Each SSC CGL Result PDF will include the following important details:
Name of the Examination:Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL)
A list of candidates qualified will be displayed at the top of the PDF.
Post Name: The respective post for which the result is declared will be specified — Junior Statistical Officer (JSO), Statistical Investigator Grade II, or Posts Other Than JSO/Statistical Investigator.
Roll Numbers of Qualified Candidates: The roll numbers will be exactly as mentioned on the candidates’ admit cards or hall tickets.
Full Names of Candidates: The complete names of shortlisted candidates will be displayed in the SSC CGL Result 2025 PDF.
Category Code: The category of each candidate will be represented numerically as follows — 0 = EWS, 1 = SC, 2 = ST, 3 = ESM, 4 = OH, 5 = HH, 6 = OBC, 7 = VH, 8 = PWD-Other, and 9 = UR.
Steps to Check your SSC CGL Result
Visit the official SSC website: ssc.gov.in
On the homepage, go to the “Results” section (or “Result” tab)
Click on the relevant “Combined Graduate Level Examination” link for the year you appeared.
A PDF will open/list containing roll numbers (or names) of shortlisted candidates, or a merit list. Download and check your roll number.
Also, look out for the cut-off marks published alongside the result in the PDF or as a separate link.
If the detailed marks/scorecard are uploaded, you may be able to log in with your credentials to see subject-wise/section-wise marks. (This depends on the year and SSC’s format.)
